With the Battlefield Bike Ride 2022 (BBR22) – 100 Days to Victory, just a little less than three months away, I wanted to reach out with some special news.
Jenn and Peter Madsen of Oyama Zipline and Adventure Park have announced that they will be hosting their second Wounded Warriors Day on 28 May 2022. This is great news and, as they did in 2019, ALL of the revenues received from activities in the park that day and all proceeds from concessions will be donated to support the work that Wounded Warriors Canada does for our veterans and first responders who develop mental disorders as a result of the work that they do to serve and protect us.
Mark your calendar:
28 May 2022
This will be an opportunity for you to enjoy the ziplines, the adventure park and the Monkey Park, a kids’ adventure park. Details for Wounded Warriors Day will be published at www.OyamaZipline.com.
But, the fun doesn’t stop there. Christine Turpin and Creative Works will be there for face painting and Leif Scott with Sun Valley Cycle Repair will be set up to do maintenance repairs, tune ups for your bike while you enjoy the events at the park.
